Jay Deratany, a prominent trial attorney in Chicago, has tried personal injury cases to juries that have awarded record breaking verdicts and then achieved the same in foster parent abuse litigation. Jay channeled his storytelling gift into plays and movies including “Foster Boy”, a movie that exposed the weaknesses of the foster care system.
